Workers Compensation Physiotherapy in Sydney CBD

If you have been injured at work, you are entitled to physiotherapy treatment under the WorkCover NSW scheme, managed by the State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA). At Sydney Sports Physio & Fitness, we are experienced in treating injured workers and navigating the WorkCover NSW system, including SIRA-approved treatment plans and EML paperwork.

We Accept WorkCover NSW Patients

We accept patients covered under WorkCover NSW at both our Sydney CBD clinic locations. Whether your claim is managed by EML, Allianz, icare, GIO, or another SIRA-approved insurer, our team can assist. We manage treatment plans, progress reports, and insurer communications as part of your care.

Conditions We Treat

Our Approach to Work Injury Rehabilitation

We take a physio-led, gym-based approach to rehabilitation. Our 200 sqm rehabilitation gym at Pitt St — the largest rehab gym footprint in the Sydney CBD — means we can deliver exercise-based rehabilitation that builds genuine functional capacity, not just pain relief. We work to restore the specific movements, strength, and endurance required for your role.

Your physiotherapist will conduct a thorough initial assessment, develop a SIRA-compliant treatment plan, provide hands-on and active rehabilitation, communicate with your case manager, and prepare return-to-work reports as required.

Return-to-Work Planning

Our physiotherapists are experienced in return-to-work planning and will work with you, your employer, and your case manager to develop a graduated return-to-work programme that is safe, realistic, and sustainable.
